My Office may have a new address.
You’ve met Nino in previous posts. A few months back he’d never fished like we do, and that’s changed. A lot! There’s a fire burning inside this man for light tackle fresh water fishing like you’ve never seen before. When he heard that my office had been disrespected he said he and a friend were going exploring and he’d let me know. To shorten the story, he did just that and we met up this morning to go see about his new found place. He didn’t lie. We both eased around in warm, overcast conditions and began putting some fish in the boat. He’s never landed a nice bass on two pound line but he did today. Under a tree. Not the fish but HE was under the tree. It was a fight to watch with a smile. I’ll let the pics speak for he and I both.

Those are pictures of a happy man. All though the day the bluegill kept showing up, some nice ones that fought good. A couple of the ones I got spit a snail on the deck, so we know why they’re there. We had to watch the weather, it was getting a little dark off to the east. Here’s some of who I met today and Nino had his share too.

And there was a few more of the same. I tried to show how chunky that one fish was, beefier than the rest. I haven’t done this good in a while and it felt good to be in new territory. I’ve been driving by this for years so I feel kinda dumb not doing this before now. I know where Nino will be this week if he gets a chance. Me too, but the boss has other plans, no doubt. Thanks for coming with us for a fun morning. The rain got serious and Nino had no raincoat so off we went, both of us soaked. Hope to see y’all out soon, til then…. Skeet
