Many, many jigs are gonna come from that tail. Just think of all the crappies you gonna catch.
Make lots of jigs
It’s the only stuff I make jigs with anymore,,, it moves so well in the water and easy to tie with,,,, makes life good!
And a steal of a price. Great stuff, I agree.
I found this one on Etsy.com but furtails.com usually has the best selection and prices
Like a lifetime supply!:Rofl

Awesomeness. Looking forward to seeing your work
Here’s my first jig made with that pure white foxtail,,,I kinda like it…
Nice. I’m liking those big jig heads more and more.
Now that is 1 fine piece of tail, if I do say so myself:popcorn I have a nice coon tail that I have used to make a fuzzy bream bait.
That’s awesome

Awesomeness beautiful work
Takeum, 1/32 with a #6 hook, dark colored head, maybe brown. Olive or light brown no fuzz chenille and a sparse bit of the white for a shorter than usual tail. It’s a knockout down here for the gills and crackers. Great lookin jig.
Sounds killer Skeet,,,post a picture up,,I’d like to see one
might fine and fluffy tail my friend and at 10 greenbacks ,,,,yes sir
Perfect color for dyeing. Buy another and cut it into smaller pieces. With Easter coming I always wanted to try the egg dyes to see how they would do. Vinegar sets the colors.
Eggs and Fur dying, sounds like a new family tradition.
Great looking jig for sure Takeum. Thank you for the info. I went over to furtails.com, and man, those are sweet. I have two in the cart now, a white one and a blue frosted one I liked. out the door, including shipping and tax, a smidgen over $30.00. Cant touch one tail around here for that. Thanks for the info Takeum. Looks like foxtail and de is in my future, lol.

These are close and show the chenille I use. #8 hooks and a jig that comes out of a 1/32 do it mold but weighs 1/43 with a #8 hook, my favorite and a great fall rate. Red fox squirrel tail is the one, gray squirrel another, and the olive chenille with white kiptail is what I spoke of. Caught a lot of fish on them the last 2 or 3 years.
Never tied with that kind of tail, what kind is it?
I have a piece and to me it's a lot like coyote, maybe a fraction mor coarse, but not much.
Great stuff as far as movement, but as you can see, quite dense. A little bit goes a long way...
