I’m in the market for a couple 10’ jigging rods to livescope with. Want something with enough backbone to swing fish in the boat.
Heard good things about the ACC crappiestix GS series rods and the BnM Diamond series but have never held one.
Can yall give me a few recommendations please? Whats your favorite at the moment?

I picked up a diamond series rod the other day it feels like a whip! I was not impressed at all other than the paint scheme! All of my 10’ are rear seat just my preference but I love the ozark Tony Edgar signature series but they have discontinued them… I have since bought a acc it’s nice great feel fairly light and good back bone only complaint is they have really big line guides like on a spinning rod for casting big… I also have a Denali prime it’s a little heavier but great feel and it’s sensitive with great backbone… I have a bnm ultra lite and it’s light as a feather but I wouldn’t boat flip a 10 inch fish with it haha I just purchased a precision crappie rod from catch the fever haven’t put a real on it yet but plan to rest it out this weekend first impressions though it is super light feels very well made! I have 2 ACC rods: an 11' rear seat and a 12' crossover. If you have the bucks to spend, they are the best.
ACC, Bonehead Rod, Ozark, or BnM seem to be the consensus based on how stiff you want your rod to be.
ACC is my prefered (stiffer but strong). Have most of the brands and there are minor differences in stiffness/sensitivity/boat swinging ability in each.
If you like a rod with a little less backbone but more sensitivity I would vote for the sam heaton or the diamond series BnM.
I use a 10' sam heaton supersitive with rear sit handle. As far as swinging big fish in the boat I am not sure about that.
Go 11 ft or more is my recommendation. I have an ACC and a Sam Heaton Super Sensitive. They both have a place and purpose. I’ve had good luck slinging fish with my ACC, but it’s nowhere near the sensitivity of the Sam Heaton.
Both good rods..if I was looking for a new rod with backbone, I’d like to try the B&M rod called The Stick. Seems like the best of both worlds. ACC just feels cheap compared to my B&M. I think B&M build quality and specifically the eyes are better quality in my opinion

I like the ACCs because of the light weight and the sensitivity. You still have to catch the fish though. Good rod, bad rod, until the fish is on makes little difference. I find the light weight of the ACCs allow me to spend more time on the water without fatigue to my arms.
Huckabee rods for swinging slabs! Long as you can comfortably handle on length.
I ordered two the ACCs, 10’ cork handle rods.

I'm not familiar with them. I have an 11' read seat and 12' crossover - both have nonslip handles. Love um.
Nice! For the record, I just reread my post and wasn’t trying to bash ACC. I really like mine it’s just different than B&M. I’ve probably caught more fish with the ACC. Good luck!Quote:

Look at Huckabees for swinging Crappie. They come in many lengths but if you like 10 to 11' range look at the Jerry Hancock or the Elite rod .
I like my ACC Crappie Stix and my BnM Tree Thumper. Both can hoist a crappie into the boat but are very sensitive. Not much difference in them really, weight, length and sensitivity being very close between them.
Swinging crappie with any b/m pole is not advised by B/M . I love a B/M Sam Heaton (my favorite ) or a Bucks best ultra-light but you want like the shipping price on tips . lol
