Does anybody have any experience with the Hydrowave system, Mr. Crappie edition? Seems kinda gimmicky, but just wondering if anybody had any experience with one.

I'm sure there is something to it. I became a firm believer in good, non-contaminated, Scentlok clothing for bowhunting this year. I had some totally unbelievable things happen while on stand with deer close and downwind. I'm thinking seriously about the HECS suit next season which blocks the animals from detecting the electrical waves put out by a human or predator. A lady I know, who is very successful bowhunting big bucks and killing mature gobblers in the spring, swears by it and won't go in the woods without it.
I use HECS, Scentloc, and Ozonics when deer hunting and nighttime predator calling, so I guess I shouldn't judge Hydrowave until I give it a try. I placed an order for a Hydrowave today so I'll find out soon enough [emoji1]

Keep us updated on how it goes. I had no idea there was something like that out there. I'm very interested to see what you think about it
Will do. It shipped today, so I should get it installed early next week and be ready to try it out next weekend[emoji106]

I look forward to hearing what you think also
Interested in hearing your results.
I hunt from a camp chair. Never an issue getting deer. I wear Carhart's covered in smoke scent. Smoke from the campfire. Most sit behind a bush, tree, etc. I prefer to sit into front of a bush, small tree, anything to break up my silhouette. I do cover my legs with burlap camo. I mostly use teh burlap to hide my feet movement and break up my silhouette.
I've had deer stare straight at me, then beyond me, and start walking past me while I sit there waiting.

My grandad put a wind up clock in the bottom of a aluminum boat and it was the original Hydro wave .
BBrown I can only speak from a experience. They do work I own one and dang near every chip that was made for them. I was heavily into fishing local bass tournaments and pull into a area that had two coves separated by a road and railroad trestle. I wanted to get to the back cove at the time and pulled into the first because a boat was back there so I turned on the hydrowave and went to work caught 2 limits in small area that I originally didn't plan on fishing. The boat in the back wasn't on anything he saw us catching them and asked could he come into the area I said yes let me finish fishing this area and we will swap. i reached down and cut it off once I did the activity ceased we swapped. I went right into his area cut it on and within 10 minutes we were on them and he wasn't. So we left that area went up the lake and turned it on again and this time fish were schooling so close we could have taken a 7' rod hit them. I have numerous other experiences but this was one of the memorable times.
Oh BBrown and key to is to keep the volume relatively low. Under no circumstances go in with the speaker blasting
Interesting
I was going to go a few more times before giving a review but I will say that I went twice over the weekend with very encouraging results. So far it looks promising though, and look forward to a few more trips to see if the positive results continue[emoji106]

Awesome
I’d believe it! I know some folks say the trolling motor spooks fish, but I think the small tick mine has from being worn fires some of them up some time, so I can see this thing working. Thanks for getting back to us. Looking forward to more reports on this thing!

very interesting
I’m following this topic because I’m curious about the Hydrowave!
Quick question tho:
I have the Terrova and I know I can’t mount it on my TM shaft, but what about mounting it to my separate Livescope pole? Would that interfere with my livescope?
Thoughts ??

It actually is designed to mount on the motor, not on the shaft but it possibly could be adapted to work on a transducer pole. I wouldn't think there would be any interference issues if it were to be mounted on the same pole as your livescope transducer.
