Figured it was time to post some crappie jigs! Thanks.
Very nice. I like the chenille
Darn good work!
very nice! would you mind if I asked what kind of chenille that is?
thanks
great work, chenille seems a little large for that hook, let me know how you do please.
Very nicely done
That is medium squishenille from J Stockard. Grumpy, it is less than the hook gap and compressible or squishy. I will report on how it works.
Very nice.
As said nice variety and good looking jigheads.
Bob
Very nice jigs!
Beautiful work
UV glows in UV light. In fact it screams at you under UV light. I just love the way the jigs glow early in the morning before the Sun pops up. Best result is white with clear UV on top. It glows an eery shade of violet.
Recently bought some fine glitter and added that to clear powder paint and that makes for a nice sparkle in the direct light. A fleeting little sparkle much like minnows produce as they swim in schools. Gold and silver holographic ultra fine glitter. Goes over all my paints just fine.
Have you tried hydro dipping ?
First I apologize for not catching all the errors in my post, what is wonder of light?:dono
Secondly, I have no idea what hydro dipping is, but I do plan to get them wet this spring. Thanks for the tips you post.
I do know about hydro dipping! It just didn't register to me. Seems like the UV clear coat would seal that, eh?
Nice work!! The top right, brown or gold maybe, really caught my eye.
Thanks skeet. Root beer hackle, brown squishinelle and gold head!
