The old man in the sea
first drop , he takes it before it settles , makes me think they might be up in the water column . the next 21 bluegill were parked right on the bottom ...go figure
a pc a worm on a 1/32 orange head was rather productive if you were patient .
they would not tolerate movement to much of a degree and the WIND was just HOWLING yesterday in these parts .....
sure was an old looking specimen , looked battle hardened for sure and for some strange reason only 2 fish were male fish ? hens ruled the roost ? :dono
went shallow looking for the boys , but they just were not there best I can tell and the water was much more warm to the touch than its been lately ....:highfive
they sure pulled hard , nice to get them in the want to play mode
all released and ran pretty consistent in the 7 to 9 inch range , not many smalls in the mix ....:cheers2
AND yes the dog woods are blooming in that area of the world and NOT a crappie one to be had , only 2 bass when I pitched a crappie jig darnit ....
I guess you could say I got skunked ....kinda ...:Rofl
