was they using live scope?
Oh yeah, those guys had every possible gadget on their boats. I even saw one with the trolling motors on their power poles. I’m glad I took the time to visit the weigh in. It was eye opening.

Some impressive results. 3.2 BF
From what Ive been told you n4eed atleast a 12" screen if you want to pick the big fish out from the smaller ones. These tournament guys have screens up to 16" now.:yikes
I hope that was catch and realse that's a lot of mature fish to take out of the lake
LOL....I guess I'm jealous. I feel very lucky to catch a half dozen crappie over two lbs per year and those guys do it in a day!!:yikes:biggrin:biggrin:biggrin
I feel your pain!!

Also most of the guys run the trolling motor full throttle on the front scouting for the big ones. Then the rear trolling motors slow them down without having to turn or reverse the front trolling motor possibly scaring the target fish.
They released all of them except for the 3.2 lber. He said it was going on the wall.
I saw the guys carry them down to the lake after they weighed.

Those guys can probably catch fish that size most every day now. They wont keep all them fish......atleast I wouldnt.
Wow! I'm starting to feel like the hobby is passing me by...Livescope, 16" screens, multiple trolling motors....I don't begrudge those who are out there doing it, but I'm happy catching them the way I always have, even if most of mine weigh between 1/2 to 3/4 lbs.
