That is some rough wind to white cap a minnow bucket
Yeah same gusts here Pappy. We saw a boat on our local lake :yikes
On the way home I go over the river. Today the wind was ripping from South to North down the river. Saw a bass boat headed into the wind. He was jumping waves and landing back down a good ways away. Sure hope he slowed it down some. He was hitting on the side and then it would walk in. Hit a wave on the back end and I thought for sure he was going to stuff the front end
I got finished with work a little early today, and I ain’t gonna lie as warm as it was the thought crossed my mind. That wind was ferocious though.

Not me. I've been processing 3 deer that were given to me at the end of season. Summer sausage and ground meat.. The family can't wait!
I'll be out there lots of days I wish I was at the house so no way I'm fighting it now.
Sounds like mighty fine eats
I miss having venison in the freezer. Never had summer sausage from it.
The Amish folks around here make it with jalapeno cheese. Man that is some good stuff.
Sounds delicious
I'm making a big batch with pepper jack cheese and dried jalapeno flakes. It's done and so far it's great. Got to let it set overnight in fridge but couldn't stand not trying a piece. Next smaller batch will be Cajun with jalapeno flakes, no chesse. My poor Masterbilt smoker was starting to feel like an orphan. It still has what it takes.
Already had a buddy drop by and leave with a stick. That's what it's all about anyway. I'll vacuum pack it all.
Oh now by mentioning pepper flakes you have me thinking about my Flat Iron Pepper flakes I love. I bet they would be awesome in there. Have any of you seen these before?
Flatiron Pepper Co
Interesting. I go through a lot of pepper flakes around here.
