Those look awesome
Very very nice Skip!
Looking good!
Those ought to bring them up.
Get healed up Skip. Spring is 40 days away. Nice jigs sir.
Thank you all, appreciate the kind words!
Grumpy with our temps what they are I am thinking within a week they will be in and I just have to be careful stepping up on that front deck. Now that I have my new last year knee and after missing the last few years, I have to go get this one!

Nice baits, heal well and soon.
Very nice Skip.......hope you get well soon.
Thanks for all the get well wishes and the doc gave me some steroids and muscle relaxers. They help some and this one is really a re-injure from like 6 weeks ago. All I did was step on the trailer and start to swing my leg over and it got me before I got it in. Thankfully the X-rays came up with none or the bone pulling away with the tendon, so just a painful strain.

Have you heard of the comfrey plant? I have about 20 of them on my property. They have great healing properties. Here is a link to come commercial products that I have used to heal things traditional doctors said would take surgery to fix - Amazon.com.
really, just rub some of that stuff on the sore spots 3 times a day
my wife was not a believer until she tried it on a minor kitchen knife cut in her hand with amazing results. Fast forward to now, the blinker went out on her car, and she said rub some comfrey on it, it will be ok.

Hate to sound evangelical, but it is really an amazing plant
Nice ties and get well soon!!
Take care Skip. Enjoy your outdoors time at a leisurely pace. Those ties look great. I can imagine those tails pulsating as you retrieve them.
Just take it easy with that strain. That type of injury can be a slow healer.
Yes I have found that out the hard way. Originally I was messing with our dog and got wrapped around something and I went down the hill to get her, it being happy about it stepped wrong. That was like 6 or more weeks ago. Then Sunday I was just trying to get in the boat and stepped on the trailer and went to swing my leg over and didn’t make it before I felt this bad pain and got back on the ground, lol! For sure have to be careful for a good while! Thanks for the warning anyway though as I do appreciate that!

Been going to the hospital every day since Thanksgiving to help my brother in law. He has an aggressive brain tumor. They were able to remove 80% and were trying to treat the rest with chemo and radiation. It has aggressively returned and he is on hospice now. Between that and pastoral duties at my church the past 17 years my days are pretty full. I do not have the time to make a lot of lures or go fishing now. At 77 I am still blessed though. Thank you for asking my friend.

Looks good. Rabbit is about as good as it gets. Nice ties.
Skip, those are some of the best looking jigs I've ever seen. You and I are the same age and I hate how these things happen when we're doing normal everyday life. I hope you have a speedy recovery and can get out there fishing. best of luck.
