I like both but favor crappie magnet because they seem a little more durable. Catch lots of fish on both.

All the above :highfive
I’ve had times when they quit hitting a baby Shad in a spot & start pitching a crappie magnet & catch a few more.
I’ve had times when they quit hitting a baby Shad in a spot & start pitching a crappie magnet & catch a few more. I like both & generally try both each trip along with a maribou jig.
Color and size change will also get a few more bites more times than not as well
Both work but I use the Crappie Magnets more often.
Got twenty colors of each , both work great at times . I tend to fish cm when trolling or under a float . Baby shad for livescope or jigging . Both would probably work either way .
I never leave home without the crappie magnets. I have alot of different colors I try.

Both work great for me as well in the right situation, clarity of water etc.
use both and add in mr crappies thunder baits as well. Plus some cheap walmart plastics as well. all have their place
I use both when I’m starting. Then switch to the one producing best for that area of the lake.
All good comments and advice.

I have been on BGBS bait exclusively for a year up until recently. I’m using crappie maxx and mr crappie curly tails right now. I’m going to pick up some crappie magnets and try them out for next time.

Babyshad for all around, crappie magnet under float.
Those split tails from CM are simple looking but they are tough as nails and very productive.

Am i the only one that doesnt do all too well with the baby shad? I mean i catch fish on them but they are nowhere near as good as the baby shad swim-r. The swim-r outfishes almost everything I own most days. Ive never seen the tail actually moving, but the slender profile and longer tail really seems to get strikes.
Ive caught fish on crappie magnets but never really that great, i have a hard time keeping bluegill off them.
