I have seen all the videos about making a pole for your livescope transducer out of pvc, my question is do they hold up . Never saw anything about how they worked and held up just how they are made.

I haven't had the least bit of a problem out of mine.
From a plumbers position, PVC is pretty darned durable just don't leave it in the direct sun for the next ten years or so, could get brittle.
Boat stays inside when not in use. I was wonder about if it would flex too much
The pvc won't flex, but your holder for it might.
Mine doesn't flex and stays where I set it. If you plan to utilize Ram mounts, I recommend at least a size C, because I had some issues with the size B moving if i trolled too fast with in pointed to the side. I've been debating on swapping to one of the Rockbros bike repair stands, because I think it will be a little quicker to deploy and recover.
Had one attached to my Fortrex for about 4 or 5 years, however long I've had livescope, and no problems
Anyway I could get a picture of the bicycle repair stand

Nice looking setup, what type of mount is that your graph is mounted to
If i'm not mistaken that's a d i y mount made from one of those kids scooters.
Not sure, but it does look like one of those folding scooter conversions.

Attachment 448532 I liked this Seelite set up till I got in stumps / etc. . I found it hard to dodge stumps /cypress knees with trolling motor and transducer pole .This is not a shallow water problem only . For example at Grenada in front of Choctaw ramp there are ten million stumps /trees in various depths depending on time of the year . Tibbee Creek on the waterway(WestPoint ) is a maze of 10-15 ft deep water that is infested with trash, trees and bushes . Tournament guys might not fish this due to speed of coverage but this is my world .
