Well I braved the wind, rain, n cold yesterday. Caught one complying trout. Brought him home , filleted it n made two nice sandwich’s.
I tried a new recipe I’ve heard about. Rubbed it with mustard then Andie’s. Deep fried it. Sooo good. Attachment 444365k

Nice catch, Sounds good. I’ve had trout one time and thought it was a little fishier tasting then I prefer.

Wild Trout will taste "rich" and "gamier/fishier" because of their diet ... farm raised or F&W raised/stocked Trout will not have near as much of a "rich" taste, also due to their diet. (from my personal experiences)Quote:

To me there’s only 3 ways to cook fish.
Fry it , fry it, or fry it. Just kidding. We broil it, bake it , sauté it, grill it, oh yea. We also deep fry it.
