Gore Tex bit its pricey.
Gortex Can be had at a Milsurp store for a lot less
Bimini and an umbrella. You'll thank me later..big smile..

The best you can afford. Avoid the cheapest ones. They don’t hold up well.

Depends on the temp. Warm rain or cold rain, hard rain or light. I don't like getting too overheated, and my ole bones hate the cold...But I'll have to agree with two of the above answers, Gore-Tex, and/or in the house...Quote:

I have pro qualifier from bass pro shop . love it . Not sure they maker it anymore .
Don't forget your leather boots with a good amount of mink oil spread all over them. If I wore my bibs and jacket like the above pic (I've done it many times before), all the water runs down your suit right on your tennis shoes. I hate cold wet feet.
In the middle of summer, my rain suit is a pair of shorts. As long as it's not lightning, let it rain.
I have both Cabelas guide wear and BPS 100mph. Happy with either but vortex of any kinda is the way to go.

I have a cheap rain suit for the summer and spring rains. For the winter I used a H20 suit I got from Academy or stay inside.
