Well that explains why you don't catch as many crappie! lol Don't you know, they like terrible fishing conditions! Talked to CajunBoy 75 a few minutes ago and he is out fishing one of his spots and he said he has caught 11 so far with 7 keepers, that was at 8:00 so he is doing pretty good.Quote:

I'm with you Tal, fair weather for me. Now when I was much younger, like a half century ago, the weather could never be too bad. Now-a-days I just ain't so mad at them anymore. A fair day and 4 slabs is a fine day for me.

I'm like that too, but mainly with the wind. If it's over 6-7 mph, I'm not going to fight it in my little boat. The design makes it blow around like a foam cup on the water. Too much trouble for that. :)
Naturally, it's super calm nearly every day I'm at work or have an obligation. When I have free time, it's white capping.
