Tie the fur facing forward also?
I started it at the head and reverse wrapped like the fringe, then tied off at the hook point.
Had trouble getting the rabbit to lay right. Might be due to the cut of the fur or operator error.
Keep experimenting. Best way to perfect techniques like you've done with your thread work.
another thing that you cant see is that the collar will slow the drop speed.

dang nice man! I am no crappie expert, but pulsing seems to really trigger bluegill bites
Try rabbit or arctic fox fur in a dubbing loop or try palmering in a rabbit strip. They will pulsate.
