A true stud that gave a good fight, I’m sure. It also proves that your fish are related to mine that stop growing just before they cross the ten inch mark. Shell crackers get big but with all those nice gills I catch I can’t find the one that crosses that mark. I’m also sure we’ll both keep trying. Nice fish Mister!

that is fact , have seen a very few bluegill in most places that exceed 10 inches , some in a few lakes out west and few farm pond raised versions in other sots , but a regular ole non bred to be big bluegill is almost never over that magic 10 inch markQuote:
