Storm provisions were

on my to-do list just 24 hours prior to it's expected ETA. Saltwater quarry, both fish & crabs, were on my shopping list.:check 81* water temp had me alot tentative! After setting out my 5 trap(pot) limit, I proceeded to my single-pole/artificial-only agenda. Working my way Westward to Gulf(2 miles or so), I had only minor playmate encounters. Eventually built up enough for a couple meals during the follow-up video coverage of Hurricane's Ian path of destruction.:popcornAttachment 437843Attachment 437844
Returning back to port, I retrieved my crabbing gear with great reward = 32 nice Crabs! :Gift:highfive Attachment 437845Attachment 437846 Satisfied with the day's results pending the ominous forecast, I was surprised to see the CHICKS anxious to "check me out!":RoflAttachment 437846

Believe this or not Mr. Ripley(lip ripper, lol)= I absolutely HATE the HARDHEADS BUT love everything about those hard-fighting/great tasting TOPSAILS! I rip off the 3 Daggers before their ice-bath. Just got internet back a while ago. Good looking take and a better dinner I’m sure. This pic should be familiar to you, Highbanks ramp. Way above normal and hasn’t created yet, Deland to crest tomorrow I think. Gonna ba a minute before I do anything but vacuum the leaves out of the boat.
