It is now looking like Slab is going to be in the middle of the latest path of Hurricane Ian. My prayers for Ed, his family, and all the folks in Florida. May God’s mercy be on those who aren’t prepared.

Good luck. Batten down the hatches. Put down the fish bag and fill up the sand bags.

I don't know what part he's in but I hope he and his family make it through safely and without damage. Let us know how you are what it's all past you Slab.

Thanks but we'll be fine. Winds, here at least, ain't gonna be as bad as previously forcasted. I know things can change but we're in a well built house. Our only problem will be if we loose power and for how long. If we do, stop by, we'll be grilling everything we have in the freezer!!!!!

Prayers for your family and everyone in the path of the storm. You can ship all frozen fish on dry ice over night to my freezer. I just can’t guarantee that it will find its way back home.

Thanks for all the concern folks. I’m praying we get a glancing blow and move on. Got the generator if things go sideways.
Prayers for all that are getting hit and all those done hit.
Stay safe. We are watching the weather channels. Good luck.
Prayers for everyone in the path of Ian. Stay safe!
This storm is 2mph from being a category five. It can cause a lot of damage as well as flooding. The infrastructure can be severely damaged. Bridges and road can be made unusable. People will lose power for days. Storm surge can be 18 feet. This could be Florida's Katrina. Stay safe my friend. Praying for you.
Mike.
We are praying for you Slab.

Praying for Florida, all the first responders, and everyone affected by this storm. Gonna be a long night for lots of people. Stay safe and keep the faith!
Just heard from Ed. They are fine and still have power. Said they expect the worst impacts (rain and wind) in their area tomorrow morning.
Prayers join with all of the others that all will be safe who are in harm's way.

We're good, only had the cable/internet go out, on and off a bunch. Power went out once but came back, yay. Prayers send for those less fortunate. Winds here were no where near as bad as Irma was. :highfive
Glad to hear y'all came through in good shape
Here's my Hurricane Irma story from Sept 2017. I was going back in time to see it's effect compared to Ian so far: https://www.crappie.com/crappie/cont...g-through-Irma
Ian ain't over yet, especially here, we're getting hit by the dirty side for the next few hours still, but I expect it'll be nothing like Irma was.
