Shouldn't be. You see a lot of them in that location. Mine is a little farther back mounted between the frame rails
What Jack said. Mine is located in the same general location. Might wasn’t to cable lock it to the frame to keep sticky fingers at bay.
Might want to clean up the rim and give it a paint job so it will look good, may last longer.
What's the date on the tire?
Yes that's in the plan. However I cannot find the date on neither side of tire. It's made by trailer king. Thanks

I say it's going to hit the tire.

The way my lowe trailer is designed just two runners, I frequently have to climb.on the trailer, push the boat back and realign, before witching it up.Just throw the spare cable locked into the back of the old ass tacoma.Kinda a pain but it works.

On a steep ramp it may hit.
Joe, steep ramp is where you might get a bump off it, but it should not be on the metal but rather the rubber of the tire.
:hesaid
Mine is there..haven’t hit it yet…

That’s where mine is. I don’t think I’ve bumped it.
Try it and see , then use it or move it..and the best quote" if it works, do it!"
