Piscifun
Anyone use one of these reels? Trying to find a good quality ultralight spinning reel under $40 that I can use for Crappie, White bass, one that is high quaility and easy on my pocket book. It would be nice if the reel was good for fresh and saltwater as we are moving to the Fort Stewart area next spring. Thanks.

hope you never need their warranty service, i had a reel with a bad spool, they wanted pics and a video of the noise ect, was not worth the trouble and had to wait almost 2 months

I have 2 flame models that i ordered off off amazon that work flawlessly, i really put them thru a work in their first 30 days in case i needed to send them back. In fact it will be my next purchase for reel

I have the carbon x spinning reels and they smooth as butter. Don't really have a lot of use on them yet. I do have some of their baitcasters(the phantom models) that I love and have become some of my favorite crankbait reels.

I've got 3 of the Carbon X, great reels with a good drag. Got tired of my bail partially opening on my hook set with my previous reels causing me to lose fish.
-
Decent reel, terrible customer service.

Sooner.... I have 2 ICX 5reels and love them.Great reels open water and ice fishing.Smooth drag, folding handle and great price. Will buy again when they wear out. I've had mine for 4 years of hard fishing (open and hard water).

Made in China. I was also charged a Currency Conversion Fee to change my payment into Chinese currency.

Happy with my 4 for past two years. No reel holds up well to saltwater if not taken care of after each day. Give a through washing and keep lubed and most reels will work fine.

Seen this on Academy Outdoors online clearance.
I haven’t used this combo but could be a good combo for the price.

I have 3 of the Carbon-X reels that are just finishing up their 2nd year. 2 are the 500’s and 1 1000. I was a bit skeptical at first, but they have been strong performers, smooth, and reliable. I would have no hesitation at purchasing another. I have not needed warranty service, so I can’t speak to that aspect. Once you get on their mailing list, you get regular discount codes.

I’m using a runcl that I was given as a gift & it’s been a great reel. It’s what I have on my 13 foot acc crappie stix rod.

I've been pleased with mine. There no Shimano but for the price
