Thats a deal and they are a great rod for the money!
They had the 6'6" combo on clearance also. $37 that's not a bad deal.

Shoots a dock pretty well
I like mine. Good rod for more than just dock shooting as well.
One of the best all around rods iv ever had shoot a jig a mile or cast one a mile

I’ve got several rods of the Wally Marshall vintage. All great rods for the price.
I've got 2 of the speed shooters, 6'6" and 7'. Really like them both. picked up and 8' speed stick at academy this weekend for $19. Haven't had the chance to use it yet.
i got the rod rod a few days ago, hope to get it out today and see how it feels, seems like it's gonna be a winner,

after fishing only a few times with the 7ft speed shooter, i ordered 3 more 2 7footers and a 6.6ft

I have two of these, work great.
One of the first rods out of the locker for me. Most versatile seven foot rod I’ve ever owned. If it wasn’t for me trying the new TCB rod, I’d probably have another shooter. That’s another good rod but way more expensive.
I’m like you Chaunc. I have both a TCB and Speed Shooters. I am carrying my SS rods to KY today.
