I am asking for Prayers today for my better half CajunLady. She's been having spells of lightheadedness, and being week. The Dr. discovered she has a calcified heart valve, and needs it replaced. She undergoes a heart Cath erization proceedure today one to see what size valve they need to require for the replacement, and two to see how they have to replace it. Open heart or he said they might be able to do it another way. PLEASE pray for her...Thank you. Eric.

You got it, Eric. I had a valve replaced in May and hopefully the cath will give her an option rather than open heart. Best wishes for you both.

Thank you everyone for the prayers. He said the heart is strong, but that valve is barely opening. Waiting for an appointment for a katscan in the next couple days, then it goes along with everything they found out today to a surgical team of specialists to see which way they are going to fix it. He said there's a good possibility the operation will be over in two weeks, but in the meantime, she will not have no energy and will have some major shortness of breath. Please keep her in your prayers and I will update as things happen. Thank you all for today, and all the prayers. We are currently back at home and she's resting comfortable.

Still have a ways to go with this. Dr said her heart was good, but the valve is bad. only opening about an 1/8th of what it should. Awaiting an appointment for the katscan, then all the info from yesterday and the katscan goes to this board of heart surgeons to determine the plan of how her Dr. (also a member of that board), Cajunlady wanted me to express heart felt thank you to each and every one of you. She is still tired and short of breath but is resting comfortably here at home. Thank you all for the Prayers from u both.
