Which do you use primary, secondary or all 3?
-Sidebar does Pautzke Fire Dye for Minnows work well? Or just save my money?
I have all 3 (Fire Balls only blue color) not the Fire Dye though. Have had luck with slab sauce and crappie nibbles. Also still learning without LS how to fish for crappie.

My experience is the fireballs don't stay on the hook well. I like slab sauce, nibbles, and Slabinator Scent Sticks.
I’m a firm believer in the slab sauce. IMO it’s hard to beat when adding to your favorite baits. I didn’t realize how important scent could be in getting them to trigger a bite until I started trying it and reading up on it some more. Good luck to you give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised just like I was.

Fair enough! How often do you reapply it? I do mostly trolling
Sounds good! I dock shoot and use it on Bobby garland baits. I typically apply it only when I first put on a fresh plastic it seems to hold up good but I also soak the bags they come in with it so that they are sitting in the slab sauce while stored.Attachment 435432 picture shows the Bobby garland bait in the slab sauce while being stored. Never thought about soaking them! I have used the original and think it has helped over the others. Just didn't know what others thought. Do you stick with the original or garlic too?
I may try squirting slab sauce in the bag. I sprayed it on my baits lastnight & when i sniffed it later to see could still smell it for quite a while.
Original is all I have used so far but I would like to give the garlic a try. Soaking them has worked well for me but I do keep them sealed in their original bags and they haven’t ever dried out or gotten sticky.Quote:

Slab Sauce and Berkley nibbles (white, chartreuse and pink)
I have moved to I-Hole jigs for trolling where a nibble presses into the head of the jig. But everything else I give a squirter or a dip. I usually use my jig bottle cap to dip the jig into the sauce.Quote:

Worked well , the other flavor he in that brand , was…..a waste of time and money .
G sauce works pretty good on hand ties and so so on plastics .
Berkeley gulp brand glow white crappie nibbles are my favorite though .

That Patriot on a pink head is one of my go to baits in clear water .
Berkley nibbles . Have used them all but never leave without "Platinum " after talking to Ronnie Capps at the Memphis pyramid Bass pro show . .
I have a couple bottles of them & the nibbles & i think they're both pretty pathetic. Hard to keep on hook & neither lasts very long at all. I will say that i could atleast smell the slab sauce quite a while after applying but the way it was for us friday night it's hard to say if it helped or not. They bit until about 11:30 & quit & we ran all over the place with very little to show for it.Quote:
