Awesome, where’s the pics? We like pics
I don’t do cell phones.
Danny, does Sinclair have a lot of submerged timber or just small pockets of trees?
the only submerged trees that I know off is on the old river channel ledges in 50-65 foot of water, there is a lot of treetops that has sunk out there and is several big rocks in 20-40 foot range, that holds lots of fish, caught about 20 today around a rock in 30 ft of water.
Thank you for the info. I’ve got a tourney there next month and I struggle at Sinclair with the lack of timber. Fishing submerged is my preferred technique and was hoping I was overlooking areas that may have full trees. I’ll be there on Fridays next couple of weekends, if ya see a black Lund, swing by for introductions and a cold water.
I will be looking for your boat, I will not be fishing tomorrow, but almost every other day though, make sure you look for treetops on the lake, there is quite a few of them out there, what tournament are you fishing, club or what. Keep your boat between 24-28 feet of water and look hard and you’ll find some. I would like to know what tournament going on, and if there is a no livescope division.
The club is Peqch State Crappie Club that host nine tourneys this coming season. First lake is Sinclair next month and then Oconee. There are two divisions in the tournaments: live sonar or traditional(non live). If you’re on Facebook, they have a group page on there for more info. Friend me on Facebook (Greg Railey) and I’ll send a link to you. Good group of guys that are very serious crappie fisherman. Thanks again for the info. I’m heading to Keaton Beach this weekend but will be at Sinclair next Friday. Look me up.
You going speckled trout fishing at Keaton beach, I use to go to steinahatchi a lot speck fishing.
