You have a unique profile on those hackle tails. Do you strip one side?
no sir, I do not strip the hackle...the profile is a little different with saddle hackle. Neck hackle will typically stand straight out. If the saddle hackle is tied directly on top of the hook shank and held downwards as you do touching turns rearward, the hackle will usually react as in the pics...Quote:
