and a few of them "other" lil sunnies got in on it as well ......:banghead
Fiesty critters
Pretty little feeshes , especially them little warmouths .
Love it when the little ones have a bait almost the same size as them... :Rofl
The nuisance fish here is the Green Sunfish. Some days I can't keep them off the line while crappie fishing.
They are fighters for sure
Most of the Warmouth I catch here aren’t quite that small and I think I’ve caught them bedding a few times. Seem all I can catch is good sized Warmouth, most over seven inches and many good fillet size. They’re fun but I can see where the peanut size would get aggravating.
Amazing that lures 1/3 the size of fish get bit! Shows you how aggressive fish can be.
you know spoon that jig was a 2 inch jig and them fish were only 4 inches , my wife managed one in there like those that hit a 3 inch jig one summer a while back ,man did she get ribbed on that one , we were in the jig is bigger than the fish mode for sure ....:Rofl
i will keep a few of those and then give em to my buddy who goes after kitty kat's and then he brings me his ketch. The circle of ketchn or life.
I’ll have to agree on using those that size for catfish. Catch big flatheads with them.
that lake is over run with flatheads , this is likely why we never ketch any big warmouth or bluegill in there is my guess . the lake is stupid with numbers beyond imagination with crappie and I bet they keep them from stunting in there as well ....
one a week on just a jig is the norm on the flatheads in that lake , not just once in while ....
Slab Sauce on a jig will catch those flatheads right regularly
