have noticed some wild bamboo near my home and plan on whacking some down to put condo's around my dock where I keep the toon. Have seen guys with a lot of leaves left on but does it make sense to strip them first?

We always left the leaves on, but by the time we hauled them from Louisiana to Iowa strapped in a jon boat they were pretty clean LOL Bamboo lasts a long time submerged.

Oh and We're Friends!!!!! :biggrin
uh know where there are stands of wild THAT as well but never been my thing.
Gilligan made bamboo condos, but never seen him catch any fish, just sayin.
Tried it one time in 5 gallon buckets with concrete. Bamboo is a lot more buoyant than wood so when we threw it in the lake it floated. Needed more concrete or less bamboo.
