Well, I’m guessing the name of this site has something to do with it…..just sayin!:Rofl There are other sites if bass is your thing. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy seeing some of the bass photos here, but most of the posts I see bass is a “by product” fish.:Rofl

actually filleted one the other day that was in the give away ice chest just for grins , it really tasted good beside the crappie and it made me think about back in the day when I ate them quite often , and yes I know its a crappie place , but I bet lot's get ketched by crappie chasers , for sure a by product for me 99 .... .9 % of the time though :Rofl
Pouring syrup on poop don't make it pancakes. Been to plenty of all you can eat perch dinners, never seen one for bass or carp.
Hmmmm
I don’t eat much bass but when I do they are small ones.
There not for me !!

I've fished for both since I started fishing. Ate my fair share of them, too. Still do fish for them about once or twice a year ... annual Night Fishing for Bass for my birthday deal. In fact, just did just that this past Sat. night. My fishing partner gets those. :ThumbsUp
And, yes, I do tend to catch them as a by-catch when Crappie fishing, but those get released.
Didn't know there was such a section.
I came here to get away from green carp. I deal with those who chase them daily so I sure don’t want to read about their doings.

I can't help but catch bass and everything else with the small lures I cast. The only difference is when decent size bass bend my light action to near breaking which panfish never do.
No doubt a 10" sunfish fights and feels like a 1.5 foot long bass, the only difference being that bass don't swim sideways, in tight circles and then dart.
(Never was impressed with the taste of bass but do like the fight of any over a pound especially when they jump.)
