So last night the starting to eclipse moon was rising just after sunset. Straight up around midnight, straight down (opposite side of the earth) around noon. I don’t know much at all about crappie and the moon, but I bet that had something to do with it. Did you radically change where/how you were fishing?
Glad you caught them. I work too much for a retired man! Leave a few for me in a couple weeks!!
Nice catch Randy

Sweet!
That wasn’t what I meant. I was wondering what you did differently or did they just start biting. Was it the moon that changed, or your method or type of structure on the lake?
Thanks
Happened to me on Saturday too. But then it all came together. Nice work.
I never catch whites. I need to give Cotile a go.
Not really, I tried several different colors, and heads, but all the fish that I found dived to the bottom or swam off every time I dropped down to them except after about noon they bit fine. My son told me the same thing the day before that. I was about ready to throw my sucker in the sand and then they turned on.
Had to be some bidness with the moon [emoji275]
It surely has a big effect. I was stationed in Guam, and did quite a bit of spearfishing. If the moon came out the fish got super spooky!!
Amazing!
