Tried out a few bank spots yesterday morning with little luck. Caught this 1.5lb redear along with two others. I think the major spawn will be this week and next here on the twin lakes.

I fished for some red ear yesterday. Only caught gills , bass and a nice male crappie still holding out in the spawning grounds.

Congratulations! Fish like that are hard to come by it seems. I am always too early, should have been here yesterday, or should come next week. It is a hit or miss situation. When you have to make arrangements at work or home to plan a trip, it's nearly impossible to hit the right time frame everytime.
