Fished Pmy on Monday and finally got the skunk off me. I fished the north end shallow bays with minnows, kept 18 and probably threw back that many.

Congratulations on a great outing
Nice. Any walleye or reports of walleye? I usually launch out of Padanaram ramp and fish the islands and bays along the west side. The crappie turned on for me last Saturday at West Branch after three consecutive weekends of 20 degrees below normal. Some nice quality fish like yours.
Nice mess of fish
Glad to see it’s finally picking up. Nice catch.
The days before were zero crappies, I was catching more walleyes and small mouths
Nice caught [emoji476]glad to see fishing is picking up. I like fishing the north side too! Same area’s as you guys are fishing. Heading to Port Clinton on May 16 for the week for walleyes . Will give the crappies what for after that. Good fishing [emoji476][emoji476][emoji476][emoji476]

Looks like your going to have a fish dinner, congrats.
Congrats on the trip.
Starting to pick up here. Caught 33 after work last night 17 over 9" most of the others around 8 to 8.5". Fish were in 25 FOW hanging around 8 to 12 feet deep. Bites were fairly light none of them were what I would call a thump.
The info in the NWPA Report claims that you need to fish the muddy bottoms.
Attachment 427576Things are really heating up now, with this hot weather this past weekend. My wife and I had a good three days on Pmy on the north end. We caught a lot of crappies over 12 in and a few walleyes and some jumbo catfish All were caught on minnows or gulp minnows. She out fished me and beat my personal best crappie with a slab of 16 1/2 in 2 lb 10 oz one her is a pic of that one
Congrats to her, on a very nice crappie.
