Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. I am an active duty Marine (2 years left till retirement!), I spent most of my time in Okinawa Japan (15 years) and have been kayak fishing for the past 10 years. I primarily salt water fish, but crappie hold a special place in my heart as the only freshwater fish I hunt and eat whenever I can. I have recently moved to Suffolk and bought a house, and plan to remain here for many years. I live minutes from Burnt Mills, Lake Prince, Meade, Cahoon, and WBR. I am not used to fishing deep water for crappie and welcome any advice you all may have. I go every weekend regardless of weather and hope to see some of you out there. If you ever need a fishing buddy please let me know. I have a 12.5 Native Slayer Max kayak and a 11.5 Lifetime Teton. You all are welcome to use one if you want to try the kayak life. I have tons of gear, time, and a will to learn. Hope to have a long crappie career in my future! Look me up as "Oki Gulz" on youtube if want to see my style!
