Today was the first day of the Crappiemasters Tournament on Grenada today. There were 4 crappie caught over 4 lbs and the top 11 teams have a 3 lb average. Today was nice weather but tomorrow will start with an 18 degree wind chill and 15 mph winds!

Those are some impressive weights
Wow! 4 over 4lbs , that’s some pigs !
Crazy. Goes against everything the live sonar haters say about taking out the big ones. :dono
Wow wow wow wow…. Four of them!
do they release them or eat them. Would like to see a major league type format
Seen on FB where a guy, not fishing the tournament, caught and released a 4.63 after weighing. Fishing out of a one man boat! No livescope!!
As Ketchn would say “KABOOM!”.
Yowza!!
I like your logic Nip.
Putting a dent in the haters theory.

Wow those are some amazing weights, that place is a real hog factory. Curious if your son is fishing this one and how they did yesterday?
Giants in that lake for sure !
just proves that you can not be competitive in tournament fishing in open water without live sonar ! It’s here it’s a tool and you must put it to use if your going to be competitive in the sport today !
Yes RL, he did fish it. He was in 26th after day one but decided not to fish day 2 with an 18 degree wind chill and near 20 mph winds as did many others. He caught several 3 lbers last week with a 3.63 as their biggest I think.
Congratulations to Matthew and Bruce Rogers for the win with a new tournament record weight of 44.71 lbs! that's a 3.19 lb average!! 4.26 was the Big Fish of the tournament winning a whopping 5,000 dollars! After day 1 there were 11 teams with a 3 lb average!!
Love this. Keeps everyone at Nader and away from that other lake of the 4 that the real big fish live.
