Had a little down time this morning, so I came up with these two.the first one is made from some brushed Bonnie Cord I picked up at Hobby Lobby and I used Sharpie markers to color the stripes gill mark etc.. te cord colors were sage on the back and white on the bottom. I mixed some pearl dubbing in to give it a bit of life like appearance...Attachment 420597Attachment 420598

What size hook and what kind of bead is that?

MCG1, that hook is an Eagle Claw plain shank #4 style 084A-4 all purpose bait hook I got at Walmart, and the bead isn't a bead, but a lead hour glass weight...5/32 I think.Attachment 420729

Looks great. That front view shows the dumbbell eyes really well. You put those materials together well.

Thank you everyone. Momma finally went back on the road for a bit, so I have a bit of time to work at the vise again. May see if I can make a couple Bluegill imitations, maybe a glass minnow or two. They seemed pretty cool in that video Shipahoy41 shared...We'll see what I can come up with...
