Hartwell 2/26

Me and Teresa went to Hartwell Saturday. Wanted to try a little longlining. We ended up catching 17, mostly females this time. Kept 10 good ones. We caught two over 2lbs, including a 2lb 7oz white crappie. We are always about quality over quantity. Lol. I did hook another whopper under a dock. My 12’ mr crappie Rod didn’t have backbone to lift it between the dock and the pontoon parked in it. Ended up straightening out the hook. Water temps 58 and fished less than 10’ with 1/16 jigs.

If you don't mind me asking, what end of the lake were you on that was 58 degrees? I know the lower lake is probably the cooler part.

We were up the Tugaloo arm. But i would say a lot of the lake will hit 57-60 by tomorrow if it hasnt already.

Now that im in Anderson now guess ill have to learn hartwell now.
