Well I went out for a couple or 4 hours today. The wind gods were very angry lol. I lucked into one bass around 12 inches.

Later after making a what the heck flip behind me I hooked into some kind of gladiator. But the dummy on the reel end of the line neglected to set the drag for the new line. So I got one done and one gone with the wind. :bash
I know anytime on the water is a good time, but today was just a day to test my patience.. :banghead

Some days you're walkin' tall, other days not so much. Beats not getting out at all.
Life is a constant learning experience. We certainly remember those times when we were not victorious better than those times when we were. It is those times most remembered that helps to enhance the character of ones heart and soul.

The wind , is not my friend . It frustrates me to try and fish in the wind , once it gets over 10mph .
Definitely when fishing out of a boat .
I spend more time trying to keep the boat under control than I get to fish .
patience grasshopper , or at least that is what I hear when the voices in my head take over .....:Rofl
Slow days are spent looking for “hidden” structure in deeper water than I normally fish. But one and done is still better than none.
