One of our better get togethers in the last couple of years as far as weather and water conditions, and every one caught fish. Friday was a little breezy but the guys were able to get back in the canals and get the job done coming back to camp to a hot fire and a big pot of chicken n sausage gumbo. Saturday mornings start was a little chilly but the fish cooperated again. We returned again to another hot fire and a seafood feast, we had fried Sac A Lait, Sac A Lait Bouillettes and fried Shrimp. Forgot to mention the deserts of homemade chocolate chip cookies, peach cobbler and cinnamon rolls. The comradery was the best and if you went home hungry it was your falt. Thanks guys I had a great time, let's do it again.

Man we had a great time! Visiting with old friends and making new ones and we even managed to catch some fish. Ole Buddy is keeping an eye on me and Todd, I think he heard the stories about Todd! lol. The highlight of the trip for me was watching Fishervet, who had never been to this lake, reel in fish after fish after fish after fish!!! Even got a spot named after him - Tal's point! If you know, you know! Marty pretty much got the pictures covered but I will share a few of mine. We caught 9 in some very high winds Friday and 27 Saturday after some teachings from Mo! Ha, I got a good one. While counting and rinsing filets I ended up with 37 that means me and escout "Art" caught 18 1/2 fish. My left hand was freezing cleaning fish one of those slippery suckers must have jumped in the gut bucket with half a skin still on.

Nice mess of fish you caught, just curious as to which pole Mo let you use. The trip I made with him I got to experience the little 5 1/2 ft sharp shooter which is my go to rod for casting a cork, it will through the 1/32 jig and cork just fine.
