But for sure it will HAMMER fish , got tested 24 hours after it was set up ....
$13.00 Us dollars worth of kick some fisheez in the rear end it is .....:crazy:
gave it to my bud for his birthday cause he don't want anything expensive to break .
He broke his other rod in the truck door the day before .
got tested the day after it got gave to him .....
works fish over like them high dollar set ups for darn sure .....
just when you thunk you had to go and spend thousands on equipment
a few dollars in gas, some boot work and a 25 cent jig with a 30 cent float on a 13 dollar set up with some old braid on it .....
a bit of the ole red,white and blue serious fish whipping was the deal ....AND
KABOOM is the word :highfive
p.s before anyone goes and cries foul , there were some small crappie in them fish herds too .....just saying :Rofl

My wife says that too. They were $55.00 a pound when I had my boats. :Rofl:Rofl:Rofl Now, when I can get her to go bank fishing with me they are down to a more reasonable price. The cost of my truck, gas, rods and reels, tackle boxes full of stuff, outerwear clothing, western hats and crappie buckles, jig tying supplies, soft bait molds, plastics and supplies, hand tied jig tying time, time spent on You Tube for research, Time spent on the computer on crappie dot com,......dang it. Those crappies are not $20.00 a pound but over $100.00 a pound. You have to believe that to me they are priceless.:cheers2

I mean you can catch them with a stick and string anything beyond that is luxury. I'm sure $13 combo is way better than some other countries use to catch fish.

My “pop” used to use a stick and cotton line and a grasshopper and hammer well with it .
But all kidding aside that set up is balanced well and has nice action and bet money it will hang with expensive stuff in longevity IF ....he don’t break it first ,,,,,:Rofl

I upgraded from a sassafras cane pole to a metal zebco 33 with a rod so stiff you could not break it in car door....... and just to mention I had to run the cows out the pond two out of three times where I fished. Bait was caught or dug on site (cattle), and sure caught a lot of fish in those plain and simple days.

Been using these quite some time as I considered them disposable so when I flipped my kayak I didn't lose a ton of money!

Had several of those Zebco 202's back in the day. They had a distinct noise when they were being reeled in.

And they’re worth all that, and more. Time occupied in a constructive manner. Thoughts directed the same way. Friends made and shared with. And what else are ya gonna do with all that time and money anyway. Probably sumthin that will get mama lookin at ya sideways.

the going price last time I checked on crappie was 100 bucks for 5 lbs of fillets out of Canada , just saying .....:Rofl

shake my spear makes a few right nice rods and reels for cheap
the 7 foot crappie rod is quite the hammer stick in the right hands for sure
balanced pretty well , a bit of back bone and fairly sensitive
and they ACTUALLY have a cork handle for around 20 bucks
laugh it up , but some other fella is holding 300 bucks worth in his hand and not ketchn , and that there other fella is just smoking fish with one , it might not be near as humorous :Rofl

I’ve tried for a year and haven’t been able to get my hands on the 7’ light micro series rod. Always sold out.

Could be but I think most times they are in store and we don’t go out much and really try to avoid Walmart.

Just checked online and Walmart doesn’t have 7’ light. I’ve been checking FishUSA and they sold out. It’s ok I’m not really needing another rod but would like to have them to try and for girls to fish with.
