my bud just dredged up about a half dozen really old metal chairs from under his dock .
aint seen any like that in a good while , man was there tons of jigs and line in them :Rofl
It’s amazing what the current can move down the streams. I see stuff I know went miles.

That's why I screwed my dock furniture to the dock! Furniture is expensive for us working folks!

I’d imagine once they realize it’s down there they would retrieve it.
I was shooting under one a few years ago and couldn't figure out what I was hitting. During low water a glass top patio table was revealed laying on it's side. If they take the water back up to previous levels from 2 weeks ago. Those chairs will be under water
Don't use mono. I usually pull the hooks free. On occasion I leave some tackle. I don't like to leave jigs or line around docks or boat especially where kids swim and play. I really make it a point to get back as much as possible. I see a lot of them in mooring ropes at Marinas. If I can reach them I cut the barb off and pull the jig out.
