I contacted the guy and he told me he didn't intend to get involved in a commercial operation and wasn't interested in taking orders.
In the thread on here he was sending some to a friend that had a bait shop or sporting goods store and the friend was selling them but
I don't know who the friend was. I would sure like to buy two or three of them.
I contacted him by Email but don't remember who the inventor was now. It's been a while ago. If you get anything going I want in.
Sounds like another post on here about Bubs Daddy Aerator

Thanks guys that's the one I was talking about.
Let us know how it works. I have been going to order one several times and just never got around to it. I don't fish minnows much until spring
I got one about a mounth ago they are awesome ,said something about delays on the web site but i ordered and got mine in a few days.
Which model did you get?
What Jack said and just how quiet are they? Went Saturday with my FIL and the quiet, peaceful tranquility of the river was not happening with his aerator. Drove us both crazy and he didn’t have his hearing aids in. We got back to the landing and he thought I had left the big motor running, nope it was the aerator. Lol
My apologies to everyone too because I didn’t take any pictures. It was misting rain most of the day so I didn’t get the phone out.

I bought a rechargeable one off Amazon and It’s super quiet... I normally run a 12v power bubbles and they get a little loud but the difference between it and the Amazon bubbler are night and day...

I really like my Bubs Daddy aerator. I like that it is rechargeable and adjustable. I can still hear mine but overall it is quieter than the aerator that came from Frabil.
I was looking at the one that hooks to the dewalt 20volt battery. It should last forever
i got the one with 4 batteries its a nice unit.
I just put this on my Christmas list!
May be too late to get it here in time. But I don’t mind a little late.

After seeing this post I ordered one that uses the dewalt batteries but since I use craftsman tools I ordered the adapter for 20 volt batteries. It came in today after only 3 days and I simply changed the adapter. This is a picture of the finished product.

20 volts batteries came in all sizes and I have 3 amp and 6 amp size. I just got the aerator in tonight and changed it over. It was a easy swap as the wires plug in. The picture did not post so I will try again. I have no idea how long it will run until I try it.Attachment 414350

Good looking setup. Should last a good long time.
Several guys in my local Crappie club have the Bubs Daddy aerator. They seem to like them. I don't pay much attention to them. I was using Mino-Mizers but his production facility stopped making them. I switched over to a 120v,12volt, 2 D battery double aerator that I permanently mounted to my minnow cooler. I buy minnows the night before, plug it in at the house, then in the truck while traveling, boat for fishing, camper over night, and back into the boat the next day. I mostly run it off 12volt except at the house or camper.
There is versatility in using aquarium 110v aquarium aerator(s) ...
Robot or human?
And a 12v to 110v inverter ...
Robot or human?
Just remove the aerator(s) from the inverter and plug the 110v aerator(s) into a 110v receptacle when parking the boat between trips ... and never worry about having extra “flashlight” batteries when the aerators die at the most unfortunate time ...
The only disadvantage is waterproof-ness of the 12v to 110v inverter ...

Notice I have 2 :
*1 aerator for the bulk minner tank ...
*1 aerator for feeding air to front deck minner bucket via 1/8” vinyl tubing ...
——
I would also suggest an aquarium water filtration system for between trip water treatment - minners don’t Live long Swimming in their own excrement ... and it saves on how often the water needs replacing ...
Robot or human?

Congrats. Let us know what you think of it
I’ve had my Bubs Daddy for a year now and love it. Had a problem with my first charger and he sent me a new one immediately. Great product and service.

I use a rechargeable lithium off amazon. It was $12 (now $15) and you cant hear its running. I usually have to reach down and touch it to see if it is still on. Has two settings, on continuous and on/off every 5 seconds i believe. It will run all day and then some, and recharges with a normal micro usb. You can run it plugged in too if you need to for some reason, just runs to a normal phone charger plug or cig plug with adapter. Its made to be plugged in 24/7 so i just leave it plugged in to an outlet in the garage so its always charged when im ready to go.
I bought a bubbs daddy, less than a Year ago. It quit making bubbles. So I thought the stone was plugging up. I soaked the stone in some hydrogen peroxide diluted over night to clean it. Still hardly no bubbles, even when cranked up. So I tried one of my loud aerators, and it puts out bubbles. Anyway is there some kind of maintenance to do on my bubbs daddy? I had it fully charged when doing this...
My be best to give then a shout and see what they suggest
Kevin, I'd like more info or maybe a pic so I can order one like you have. Using a Hush Bubbles right now in a Cool Bubbles 11 QT. bucket. Have used this set up for years but that dang pump is so noisy I can't talk to anybody in another boat without turning it off. Forgot to turn it back on the other day and lost several.
Bubs daddy are awesome. I have one on both engel coolers. They are expensive but have never regretted buying them
I emailed, he sent me an RA # to mail it back, for him to look at. He said there was an upgrade with the charging. Mailed yesterday.
