I posted about my making Pillhead jigs ..... And it was a bit crude. Maybe this tool is also crude. But my first attempt was a bit oblong and not at all round. But it did form an interesting head.
So I pressed two more, a 1/32, and a 1/16. The 1/16 is round, but looking at it from the edge...it's in a wedge shape. The 1/32 was as good as I had hoped for.
My intention was to have a way to have cheaper pillhead styled jigs.
My first attempt will need fine tuning. The angle is because the grommet jaws are designed to work against each other and not have the convex top of the screws in place. In the photo, the screws are pulled out for viewing.
