Boy, you did a bang up job on those. Yes, we have too many days of rain in the forecast right now. As I posted yesterday, Clark launch is closed right now, as anytime the lake goes much past 1.25 ft over summer pool, it can't be used.
Hey Zimmy, are you braving the cold today? Thinking about going out around 11. Should be at least 40*by then.
Sorry Chaunc decided to leave the crappie get bigger till next spring, putting the boat away for the winter tomorrow. But you go get ‘em[emoji476][emoji476][emoji476] make sure to let me know how you did! Here about 10 years ago I gave up ice fishing , to flipping cold.Quote:

I will likely be up Tuesday to hit my favorite shore fishing spot Chaunc. Captain Joe is heading to Montana for a week of mule deer hunting. He tends to miss out on our best weather conditions. Each night should be a bit warmer until then to yield good action in the cooler water. Hope to see you in the area.

Glad to hear that news. I think with the earlier sunrise and better temperatures I will endeavor to get up there around 9:00 - 9:30 if nothing gets in my way. I suspect the recent cold nights have yielded a slow bite in the early morning hours that picks up later.Quote:

All the docks were pulled out today. Zimmy, they are leaving the gate open, at the swim beach. Haven't seem it closed in a long time. They finally must be listening ti Chaunc, and not locking it up.
We put 45 crappies and gills in the box for my buddy. Fished a lot of spots both shallow and deep. Not many shallow today. Most were in 13 feet. Hope to get back at it tomorrow and Thursday.Quote:
