I’ve caught just about everything that will eat a minnow while pulling cranks. We’ve had some good Redears (shell crackers) but this one from KY Lake today is the best. 12.25 inches and at least 2 inches thick. Didn’t weigh it. Attachment 411061Attachment 411062

WOW , never seen a crankbait red ear , that is a trophy on the capture method and at 12.25 it is also a whopper of a sunfish .

Monster cracker
I mainly target points and other current breaks. Both of the Redears pictured came off extended points along ledges in 15-20 feet of water.Quote:
