Guys/Gals, Darbonne is going to be here before we know it! So let's start up a food thread!
I will be going up the Tuesday before the event and staying until that Sunday. Got a buddy coming with me this time.
I will make some kind of dessert for Friday (probably Banana pudding) and Saturday if all goes well this weekend, I will be bringing some of those sweet shrimp to fry up!
I’ll be bringing up the Natchitoches Meat pies!! I will donate all my fish from that week for the fish fry..and will get whatever else that will be needed for the fish fry Saturday!

I will have that big pot of Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Rice, Plates, Bowls, Napkins, Utensils, Coffee, Sweet Tea, Limes, Cups, 8 Gallon Fryer, 8 Gallons Of Oil, Aluminum Pans, Flour, Butter, Buttermilk for making Biscuits every morning, Eggs, Sausage, and what ever else I can remember to bring.Quote:

OK members, PLEASE RESPOND! Need to know who all is coming to the gathering so I know how much food (shrimp) to bring! I know Brother Warren is going to be there, and 20 Watt and his crew, and me and a buddy will be there but that is about all I know of, for sure, will be there! I don't want to bring a lot of extra shrimp if there is only going to be a few of us this year.

I'll be missing it this year. This falls on my wife's birthday and we plan to be out of town. Fishing should be good considering the weather forecast.

Well it final, we are not going to D'Arbonne this year. I thought I had until the end of the month to get my down the bayou house repaired but found out I need to have it ready by the 22nd.

The Sheriff let me off this weekend so we are planning to be there. I will bring a smoked brisket and beans for Friday night.
The Sheriff let me out this week so I'll be there. I'm bringing gator meat and the wife is planning on bringing a chicken casserole. Just kidding about the Sheriff.
