First off Zimmy, it’s HANG gliding. Haha. .5 is to fast to glide around and thru brushpiles. I’m usually at .3 but I may hit .4 going from one waypoint to another in the same area. When I longline, which is rare for me, I’ll do from .6 to 1.2 with heavier jigs on. I got some good ones today fishing a jig and bobber shallow.

Sounds like an interesting way to fish
And thanks Zimmy and David.
A lot of truth in these statements.
More time on the water should help anyone.
Being able to process the information available and come up with a successful game plan is important.
Being able to do this on multiple bodies of water is impressive. Sharing this information and techniques is more impressive.
The pictures that you post show that you are very successful.
Yes. You are a legend.
Hey where were you Thursday? Awesome day on the water[emoji476][emoji476][emoji476][emoji476]Jodi and I had a pretty good day way over hundred fish caught even a big catty which I let go for you . Don’t keep [emoji250]. Favorite color blue/ silver triple ripple caught the most hang gliding and long lining. If I lived 5 minutes from lake would be there as much as you but it takes me 1 :15 to get there but that doesn’t matter I love fishing. Chaunc I have known you a long time and I glad / proud to say you are my friend [emoji476][emoji476]also kept 31 keepers. Told we are keeping 15 from now on can’t clean them as fast as I did when young. HahaAttachment 410219Attachment 410220

That’s a great day on the lake. I wasn’t fishing my favorite spots. Just doing some scouting to see if fish were in some of my oldest waypoints. A lot of the brushpiles are deteriorated from them now so I’ll have to replace some brush there or delete those waypoints. Checked about 15 spots that are around ten years old in my gps. Some still held fish. Others I could see they were run down and there’s nothing there to hold fish anymore. I’m thankful I live so close and retired. I think this lake is the best crappie lake for numbers, in Pa. It seems to be worth your time riding to fish it. I hope to see you next week.
Chaunc I know some of the spots from older years are in need of replacement of cover. I feel that way to about Shenango for numbers and size. I like fishing the high percentage lakes. And proud myself in keeping the skunk out the boat. Hope to see ya next week also, keep fishing [emoji476][emoji476][emoji476][emoji476]

I don’t fish Pymatuning this time of year so I can’t help you there. I’ve only fished the Jamestown area twice since May this season. The weeds were gone in the area I normally hammered the fish so I said I’m not wasting my time anymore.
Hey Zeke, praying that you and the family get healthy real soon. That Covid is no joke. I got my shots in March just to make sure I don’t get deathly sick if I get it.
