Opening up my Presents was
quite the Birthday activity, I couldn't wait to see unfold , on the Salty-side of town. No other party-attendees/invitees were necessary, but myself and the Owner of the arena MOTHER NATURE!!:HandsClapping Five rods & reels, 3 tackle boxes, and 5 large CRAB pots were aboard w/an IMMEASURABLE supply of ADRENALIN for what may come aboard. Solunar-based Forecasting showed VERY low fish-activity, but everthing else wasSTELLAR. Interrupting one of my casts with a loud inhalation of air, I was mildly surprised but an uninvited, unannounced guest not !0 feet off the TRANSOM of my boat1Attachment 409686 He casually swam closer, and actually nudged my motor with his Nose as if to say Move along little Dougie, these here are my waters you're a workin'!Attachment 409688 :Rofl No Reds, no Flounder, no Snook, but I limit of 5 keeper-Trout found "cooler-time". Two real-nice Grunt made the party as did ONE cutie-pie(saw about 8 "nibblers") = PITA.PUFFER!Attachment 409682 Decent amount of undersized species found freedom...but the CREAM was about to be revealed on the return to Port. On my way out, I strategically placed the 5 Pots in some of my more successful areas. Only two boats were even seen that day, with dolphin enthusiastically playing/hunting, and the mullet were proudly displaying their aerobic skills.:popcorn:ThumbsUp 37 Jumbo, male CRABSAttachment 409687 were welcomed to the party and the boat-loading/40 minute drive-home ritual had claimed it's turn.
Thanks for readin'/ridin' and hopefully realizin' that Fishin' IS my MISSION!! Enjoy the pics!Attachment 409683Attachment 409684Attachment 409685

Wow. Great pics. Beautiful Manatee. I’ve been surprised by the big breath of air often as well. Always freaks me out. Happy birthday Doug.
