Floating or in water lights?
The guy I bought my kayak from had some led strip lights that ran on AA installed. I think I’ve seen some similar at Walmart around automotive section maybe? :dono Not sure if that’s what you’re looking for. Also could try amazon if auto sections don’t have them. I’ve seen a bunch on there of different kinds.

Another option is some are using cordless tool batteries stepped down to using a 12 volt adapter. If a fella has a cordless drill already it works out good. Sure saves the expense of batteries

I would go the small 12 volt battery route as well. Something small and lightweight. I hook my light to my lithium battery I already have for my fish finder.
Lots and lots of you tube videos on LED Lights that are water proof and 12v. it's pretty simple really.
I was thinking about riding mower battery they are lightweight and I could build a box for it.
They are heavier than the feeder batteries

I went to interstate battery and got a 12v 5 AH battery for like 45.00...but you have to use a small charger for it. A regular 12v battery charger puts too much juice out for the battery to handle and will ruin the battery...
