I guess they all went into hiding from the hot weather. I've been doing a little work on the boat and haven't been out but 1 time and that was when I found out my controls were messed up, old age, those have been replaced. Now, in the mornings while it's cool, I'm redoing some of the wiring, it's a slow process for one that's has just enough knowledge to get into real trouble if I'm not real careful.
You been out any?
Wife and I skipped last weekend, just too hot for us. We fished the weekend before at a small lake and caught a couple of channels and caught a couple of nice gills along with several smalls.
We love our summertime but when it's hot as it's been, time to take a break. Grass cutting has even been a challenge, either too hot or too wet to cut. The weather has made my hopes of more outdoor time difficult.
We hope to get out this weekend but we know that Labor weekend will bring a crowd.
KY Lake for for a week at the end of Sept. will be a nice respite.
We are hoping for a fun week.

Haven’t been out since Memorial Day weekend…lakes have been so crowded, or either muddy at times with occassional downpours. Then in July,,hitting various trade shows in the US with last one being Sturgis. Have a couple more in Sept to visit. Have to knock on wood from not catching Covid,,but it’s spiking here in Indiana again. I’m going to tear boat up again and wire it for a 3rd depth finder up front and mega Live,,,so running power and network cables and if and when HB releases Mega Live will be ready for quick install. Hope to have the boat wired this weekend. After Labor Day weekend I plan on fishing alittle as it cools down then some deer hunting as well.

I'm waiting for the weekenders to put there boats in storage for the winter. To crowded for me. Jet skis, wake boats & me just dont get along to well.

Been fishing the bottoms borrow pits and catching enuff to eat regularly…lot of Asian carp but still 11 to 13” crappie regularly. Not another boat on the water. Not easy to get boat in but great to have it to my self.

Haven't posted in a while - figured people would get tired of seeing the reports all the time - lol. Been going pretty much all year long minus a few small stretches due to the heat/weather. Just got out the last two days and caught just over 100 total. Have caught over 3500 for the year now. Looking forward to some cooler weather and fall/winter fishing. Always my favorite time of year.
