Yesterday, we got a really bad down pour, that lasted about 2 hours. So bad, that it took out a newly placed culvert, on our road. So if your fishing at Shenango, be care and watch for floating trees and trash.

Dang, Chaunc, you really know how to get it done. Nice bunch of fish.
Nice bunch of crappie.
Great catch. We got a pasting from Henri and the water here (streams) will be a tough go for awhile.

Nice job Chaunc! You really hammered them [emoji476][emoji476][emoji476] I wonder after the storm if the crappies are back on the grub bag ? I am thinking next week when temps are lower

Well we got another bad rain yesterday, almost like the other one. Local news says, that this August has broken the record ,for the amount of rain received. And right now, we have a chance for more thru the 31st. Yes it's stupid hot here too right now. The funny thing is, usually by this time of the month, we start cooling off, with only a few days, that might get hot.
Well that rain didn’t affect the fishing. Me and Tim caught our limits and were done by ten.

Took my nephew Jordy out Sunday and we had a slabfest for the first forty five minutes. We put 25 keepers in the boat that quickly. It slowed down but we still got our forty by 9:35 right as it started to get hot. Fished drop offs with baby shads and nibbles. Lots of nice crappies.

Baten down the hatches fella's. You guys up in northwest pa may not get alot of what coming up from La but if it wobbles a little bit to the north,we will be in the thick of things. We got pounded over the weekend with alot of rain and the creeks and rivers high and muddy. It's going to get interesting come Wed.
