Pondtoons

Hey Cane Pole, well my 72x16 will be delivered Monday. Finally found a motor, 25hp.4stroke Yamaha. I am going with a tiller control with ele. start,with rope start, t/t.
New Minn Kota 80 lb. gps, spot lock .Garmin livescope on 1222 graph Garmin 10 si/di/ sonar. Guess i will be busy rigging next week. Will be selling my Triton 17 ft. Tournament Crappie with Humminbird 10 si/di/sonar, and motor Guide SI 5, 24 v. 80 lb.,with spot lock

You will love the stability of your new Pondtoon. We have had ours 8 years and still love it. Not for sale either. Ha

Well thanks everyone!!!! I loved my Triton crappie boat but climbing up on the front deck got old for this old crippled fart! I am eat up with Agent Orange from Nam, and it caused diabetes so i am getting numbness in my feet and legs. This makes me real unsteady in the boat. I have fallen three times, and i went to Fork Tuesday by my self you guessed it, i fell and hit two ice chest in the boat and i am still sore. Went back to my trailer and turned everything off and went home. This getting old crap ain't for the weak!:banghead I need to find someone as crazy as me about crappie fishing.

Jeez was that stuff evil and nasty. Very sorry to hear of your health issues. We went on a tour a few years ago and met an army medic that was around it for his tour. His brother talked a bit to us privately and said his brother has suffered with after effects his whole life. Of course the VA really stood up and did the right thing….:banghead

That agent orange is what they blamed for my fathers cancer. Sadly it took him back in 2017. Going to VA for the 2 yrs he fought it, it was amazing the amount of Vietnam veterans suffering from what I believe was from agent orange. Basically they told my mom if he had boots on the ground he was exposed and they helped. Don’t know why they thought spraying poison would be good idea.

Dave you can see on my post me sitting in the door of my UH-1B Huey gun ship. We used to fly cover for the C130's that did the spraying. It never failed they would have a malfunction with the spray system and we would wind getting caught in the spray. My green ship would be red and i would be covered also. It was one heck of a job gitting that stuff off the ship. Talking 4-5 hours of washing. Sorry about your dad, have lost several crew members to that stuff.

Tom that gun i am sitting by is a minigun 7.62. . They had them mounted on pylons but they had a system running them and they only fired 2000 or 4000 depending on switch position. "Little Leroy" (guns name) he was wired straight to a 28 volt system and would eat 6000 p/mjn. He belched a flame about 8 ft. into a 95 mph wind when we were making a pass, shooting into a landing zone.
